Testimonials From Our Renovation Projects

A Pleasure Interacting with Your Staff Members

Dear Marvin,

This is a note to thank you and your staff for helping to achieve the final stages of upgrading my property. I have arrived at the stage of completion of the overall project now, and received a call from Overhead Doors for an adjustment which was required. They should be here on October 17, which will prevent the cold from getting indoors.

As usual, it has been a pleasure interacting with your staff members and I have received many compliments on the end result. I hope the wedding goes well. My congratulations to Chris and Christy, and warmest regards to Jackie.

As Always, Nappu

We are extremely satisfied with the whole MLW team. From Marvin who, if you’re looking for hand holding and molly coddling you won’t get it from him. What you will get is honesty and years of experience. The men who did the deck and the young man who did the trim work in the basement were always here when they said they would be and they left the site clean and orderly at the end of each day. Past experiences with other contractors had left us a bit shy of contractors. They would say they were coming out to give a quote and didn’t bother to ever phone or show up. Some gave quotes and then after many phone calls asking when they were starting we finally got the hint that they weren’t ever coming. The people who ended up doing our smaller deck and 10’x10’ addition wouldn’t show up when they said they would and so my husband and I both ended up losing time from work and the project took three times longer than quoted. And I got the name and numbers for these other contractors from the Better Business Bureau. I’m glad I spotted the MLW truck with the contact info on it. We are so pleased with all the work and would highly recommend this company to anyone!

Thanks again to everyone!

We had crown moulding done this week at our home and I am so, so pleased with the outcome.  The craftsmanship and attention to detail are extraordinary and the finished product looks spectacular.  The guys cleaned up after themselves and they were polite and professional. I will certainly contact MLW Contracting Ltd again for future projects.

We just wanted to take this time to Thank-You and your crew for the quality work you did on our kitchen.  We are finally back in order and when you stand back and compare against the old kitchen the change is incredible!

Thank you once again!

Just a Thank-You for the hard work all of you have put into making our kitchen wonderful…

Thanks So Much!

I want to particularly compliment Aaron on the fine job he made of the curio shelf. Truly beautiful millwork!

I also want to compliment Kyle who has been such a pleasure to work with and really good at communications along the way.

Thank you.

Great Bunch of Guys

Well, almost 3 months post-renovations and I’ve survived—no leaks, cracks, or cave-ins so things are looking good. I’m pretty happy and I thought you should know that.

You have a great bunch of guys working for you and they represented MLW in an outstanding way. Chris, Brian, Aaron, and Klaus and all your subs were a pleasure to have around—especially with that vacuum on Friday afternoon!

So, thanks Marvin. And even though I was usually afraid to phone you with a change or some small difficulty, my trillion-dollar restoration looks great.

Your favourite client, Joanne M.

P.S.: I look forward to a greatly discounted quote on any future jobs (haha).

MLW completed an extensive outdoor renovation for us in 2016 ( new shingles, siding, deck, driveway, sidewalk and landscaping ), and did such an outstanding job that there was never a doubt we would have them back again this year for a basement bathroom renovation and for any future renovation projects we may have.  Marvin & Chris did a fantastic job helping us through the entire process and answering our many questions.  Their expertise and the expertise and professionalism of their staff and Sub-trades gave us the confidence that the job would be done right.  We have been extremely pleased with the results!

Just a short not to say Thanks for a job well done.  I now have my dream kitchen.  The efficient way the job was done was truly appreciated.  We still can’t believe it’s the same house.

Thanks again!

Professional & Courteous

Thanks for your quick completion. Your men are very professional and courteous.

Thanks, BAM

A Job Well Done

Thanks for a job well done. We’re really enjoying our new deck and hot tub.

Sincerely, Vee

Fabulous Job

Please pass this along to everyone who was involved with this assignment. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who worked on our roof for a job well done! Everyone was professional, hardworking, and did a fabulous job. We couldn’t have asked for a better crew to oversee this major task. Now when the rains come we just look up at our roof and do a little dance of joy; no more leaks!

Keep up the high-quality work, you guys are great!!

Robert & Sharon

Very Pleased with the Results

Wow! What a great job on our kitchen renovation. We are very pleased with the results.

Thank you so much for coming to our rescue by setting us up with John at Delton at the last possible moment. I also want to thank Klaus for all his hard work and dedication to this project. He certainly is an asset and I appreciated his kindness and the hugs! Fantastic job! Have a beer and chocolate on us.

Thank you.

Fab Renovation

Our thanks for your work on the basement renovation. The quality, timeliness, dedication, professionalism, and friendliness of you, your staff and sub-trades made this project a pleasure, not an inconvenience.

Nick and Trevor put their hearts in it… which shows. Our best wishes for everyone, personally, professionally.

PS. The basement has been named “The Cavern” after The Beatles! The whole street knows about it… it should be lots of fun!

Very Happy with Everything!

Thank you very much for helping us make a difference in our lives. We are very happy with everything.

Great Job!

Everything is Great!

About halfway through the project and everything is great! “The boys” have done a super job and their work ethic, attitude, and cleanliness on-site is just superb! Chris, your prompt answers to our never ending questions is also much appreciated. Thank you all so much!

Pleasure to Deal With

Thanks for the help and support throughout the flood experience. When David finally finds out the details I know he will be so appreciative of your expertise and kindness.

As always it is a pleasure to deal with you and the MLW crew.

Excellent Work

Thank you for the excellent work and service we received. We are truly enjoying our home as a result of all the work which was completed.

We were fortunate to meet Marvin and his team 10 years ago when they did a basement renovation for us. It was a no-brainer to turn to MLW Contracting Ltd. to do our condo renovation in 2026. Again they did an awesome job. The attention to details shows pride in workmanship.

The job is done right due to the open and honest communication from MLW Contracting Ltd. and the subtrades. They were always available to answer any questions, offer options and share their experience. Space was very important - the kitchen, bathroom and entrance were designed to meet our specific wishes. The project was completed on time and allows us to enjoy our space fully in our ‘senior years’.

We highly recommend MLW and a special thanks to Marvin and Parker for being there for this lol (little old lady).
